Diagnostics not functioning

The problem when the [Diagnostics] or [Machine Interface] is not working is when there is a problem with the AD Card. The issue can be caused by the drivers for the AD Card are not present, they have been corrupted or the AD Card itself has faulted. To identify the problem, start by going to the diagnostic interface for your version of software.

CS2000v3 Diagnostics with AD Error

If you notice negative voltages, this is an indication that the AD Card has faulted. Go to the Windows [Device Manager] and navigate to the [NuDAQ Boards] entry. The entry must always be free of warning symbols from the Windows system.

AD Card Driver Failed Is this error is witnessed, the AD Card has either faulted or drivers do not exist on the system.	AD Card Device Manager Error If a question mark is observed, the driver is either not installed or the Ad Card has faulted. Windows will give misinformation about the state of the AD Card as shown below.
AD Card PCI Slot - Restart BIOS Confirmation A restart will confirm that the AD Card has faulted. This error will not be witnessed even if the AD Card is installed but the drivers are not present. The only time you will see this BIOS error is if there is an actual hardware fault on the PCI slot.	AD Card Device Manager Properties - Not correct The Windows System will display a false state of the AD Card that it is working properly but at the top of the screen icon, the device still has a "Question mark".

To correct this error, a new AD Card is required and drivers for the new AD Card must be installed. If the hardware has faulted, a new PC may also be required as damage to the motherboard may have occured.
